This is our Detailed Standard Return Policy. Unless another return policy is indicated, products sold by ComputerPartsDiscount.com are covered by this Standard Return Policy. Merchandise under this Standard Return Policy may be returned a) within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund, or b) within one year of the original invoice date for a replacement of the same item. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. All items returned for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

We have the right to cancel an order if it is not in stock, discontinued, pricing error, not available and or any other reasonable issue that prevents us from providing the product. Email confirmation of an order is an automated response and is not a acceptance of the pricing, terms or condition of the order. This process is handled as the order is prepared for shipping. Pending and Processing status are not guarantees that the order has been accepted. A legally binding contract for the sale of the goods concerned does not exist until they are physically shipped and the customer's credit card is debited.

Processors (CPUs) Return Policy

This is our Detailed Processor (CPU) Return Policy. Physically damaged CPUs cannot be returned to ComputerPartsDiscount.com and will not be accepted.

Improper installation of CPU fans and/or improper clocking techniques may cause CPUs to chip. CPUs that are chipped, burned or have bent and or broken pins are considered physically damaged and cannot be returned for refund or replacement. Physical damage includes (but is not limited to) improper handling, abuse, overclocking, improper clocking, configuration and any other type of damage sustained by irregular use.

Forcing a processor into position will not solve an installation problem and may void our return policy. Buyers requesting a refund may have to pay a 15% restocking fee. We will not under any circumstances cross-ship replacement CPUs.

This is our Detailed Desktop PC, Notebook, and Digital Camera, Camcorder ,Tablet PC Return Policy. Under this policy all Desktop PC, Notebook, and Digital Camera, Camcorder ,Tablet PC are non-refundable, and this supersedes all other return policies. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. AnyDesktop PC, Notebook, and Digital Camera, Camcorder ,Tablet PCthat is deemed defective may be returned for a replacement within 30 days only, but a request for refund will not be granted. If a Desktop PC, Notebook, and Digital Camera, Camcorder ,Tablet PC is returned for a replacement, but no problems are found, the Desktop PC, Notebook, and Digital Camera, Camcorder ,Tablet PC will be returned at your (the buyer's) expense. You should be certain in your decision to purchase a Desktop PC, Notebook, and Digital Camera, Camcorder ,Tablet PC and must agree to this policy before completing your order. By confirming your order, you indicate your agreement to this policy.

A defective Desktop PC, Notebook, and Digital Camera, Camcorder ,Tablet PC that is returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at ComputerPartsDiscount.com discretion, unless otherwise required by law. We strive to uphold our standard RMA processing time for these types of items; however, in some situations the item must be sent to the manufacturer for repairs. Unfortunately we cannot expedite the RMA repair process in these situations, as we must abide by the manufacturer's established processing time. Consumable Items Return Policy

This is our Detailed Consumable Items Return Policy. Consumable items are items such as Printer Ink and Toner Cartridges, CD/DVD Media, Paper Products etc. that are consumed once they are used. Consumable Items can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date if and only if the item is sealed and unopened in its original retail packaging. These items are not eligible for RMA through our online RMA system. Please contact our Customer Service Department for RMA information regarding consumable items.
Open-Box Items

This is our Detailed Open Box Item Return Policy. ComputerPartsDiscount.com often sells items that are listed as "open-box." Because these items are sold at greatly reduced prices, they are covered under this limited 15-day refund-only return policy through ComputerPartsDiscount.com. Such items can only be returned within 15 days of the applicable invoice date. We cannot provide replacement service for these items, as their stock is limited. These items have been tested for functionality, but may have superficial physical defects including (but not limited to) scratches, dings or dents. Should these items prove defective following their purchase, the buyer (not the manufacturer, distributor, Shipper or ComputerPartsDiscount.com assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repairs, unless otherwise required by law. These items are not covered by any 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

If you purchase an Open-Box product you will receive an OEM BAREBONE item, meaning you will only receive the item itself. Accessories are NOT INCLUDED with Open-Box products, even if the missing accessory is required for the item to function properly.
Software Return Policy

Opened Retail or OEM software can only be returned for replacement, and replacement RMAs will only be honored if the returned software is defective or damaged.
Retail Boxed software may only be returned for refund within 30 days of the invoice date if the packaging is unopened and factory sealed. No software returns will be accepted after 30 days.
OEM software is non-refundable once purchased and delivered. OEM versions are intended for system builders only and cannot be transferred to another PC once installed. Purchasers of this software are required to comply with the terms of the applicable System Builder License, including responsibility for providing all end-user support. ComputerPartsDiscount.com is not responsible for system/software incompatibility, and incompatibility issues do not qualify software as damaged or defective. Customers are encouraged to contact the respective software publisher for answers to technical questions, such as minimum system requirements, prior to purchase.
Bulk Item Return Policy

This is our Detailed Bulk Item Return Policy. Bulk Items (including but not limited to such items as Home Entertainment Systems and Televisions 24 inches and larger) cannot be returned to ComputerPartsDiscount.com for refund or replacement service. Therefore, you are urged to carefully examine the box your bulk item ships in before signing for the package. Should you observe any damage to the shipping box, or if the wrong product was sent, you must refuse delivery while the shipping courier is still on the premises. The item will be returned to ComputerPartsDiscount.com and you will be refunded the full amount, including applicable shipping costs and tax.

If you determine upon inspection that the condition of the shipping box is satisfactory, an adult over the age of 18 is required to sign the shipping courier's release form to complete delivery. By signing this release, you are acknowledging and agreeing to

If a product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, it will be stated on that product's website. Manufacturers' warranty details are typically available at the manufacturer's website. Detailed manufacturer warranty information can also be obtained for free by contacting our Customer Service department. Please note that products in this category are non-refundable unless otherwise indicated.

Products that state "This item can be returned to the product manufacturer only" must be returned directly to the product manufacturer for repair or replacement, unless otherwise required by law. For these items, the warranty policy provided by the product manufacturer explicitly requires that any returns, repairs etc. be requested and processed directly by the consumer (or "end-user") of the item.
Mail In Rebate Policy
Products missing UPC codes or serial numbers from the box are NOT returnable.


Products offering mail-in rebates are not returnable to ComputerPartsDiscount.com once the rebates have been filed. Be sure that the product is functional and that you intend to keep the product before sending in for your rebate. Products missing UPC codes or serial numbers from the box are NOT returnable. Only the product manufacturer can replace any defective item missing the UPC code.
LCD Display Return Policy

There must be a minimum of 8 dead pixels to declare an LCD display defective and eligible for return.
We sell many products such as Notebooks and Monitors that feature LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screens. In order to declare any product with an LCD screen "defective" and eligible for replacement or refund through any applicable ComputerPartsDiscount.com Return Policy, there must be a minimum of 8 (eight) dead LCD pixels.

Physical Damage Policy

Combo Specials include two items that must be purchased together in order to receive a discount. Combo items may be returned for replacement within their applicable ComputerPartsDiscount.com Return Policy Period. If a Combo item is returned for a refund, the Combo Discount will be voided, and the discount amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund. (For example, if your combo discount was $5, and you return one of the combo items for a refund, the $5 will be deducted from your RMA refund amount.)
Out-of-Stock (Back-Order) Items

Sometimes items are returned to ComputerPartsDiscount.com after the product has been discontinued. If ComputerPartsDiscount.com no longer carries an item that is sent in for replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock, the item will be sent to our Back-Order RMA Department. You will be notified via email with two options: either ComputerPartsDiscount.com can send you a comparable replacement item, or a refund of the current market value of the product will be issued. A current-market-value refund may not exceed the original invoice price. If the item is returned within 30 days of the original invoice date, a full refund will be issued.

All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, which can be obtained by contacting our Customer Service department or clicking.

Please save all packaging and accessories for any item that is returned to ComputerPartsDiscount.com. All original equipment, components, manuals, cables, documents and packaging, and all included accessories, batteries, decals, rebates, certificates and mailing information must be returned with your item in order for ComputerPartsDiscount.com to process your RMA. An item returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at ComputerPartsDiscount.com discretion, unless otherwise required by law. Products with specific refund and return policies and deadlines must be returned within the time periods specified for each item. All items sold through ComputerPartsDiscount.com are subject to our Policy and Agreement. Physically damaged items cannot be returned.
We advise that you purchase shipping insurance on all packages for return
